The foundation under your content
Technical SEO/AEO setup in Boise, Idaho is the code-level work that lets search engines and AI tools read, trust, and recommend your pages. It's the plumbing. Nobody sees it, but if it's wrong, nothing above it works well.
Great copy and strong photos still struggle on a site with messy URLs, missing metadata, or no structured data. Search engines have to guess what your pages are about. AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews have the same problem, and they tend to cite pages that spell things out clearly.
Jared has built websites for high-ticket home service businesses since 2017, and this foundation goes into every build. It isn't an extra you have to ask for.
Most owners never see this layer, and that's the problem. A site can look great and still send confusing signals to a search engine. Two pages with the same title. A service page with no clear main heading. A contact page that nobody told Google about. Each one is small. Together they hold a site back.
What's in the setup
Here is what we put in place, in plain terms.
- Clean, readable URLs that say what the page is.
- One clear main heading per page and a logical order of subheadings.
- Page titles and meta descriptions written for each page.
- Canonical tags, which tell search engines which version of a page is the real one.
- Schema markup, the structured data that labels your business, services, and questions in a way machines read directly.
- Rules that tell search engines which pages to read and which to skip.
- Mobile and speed checks before launch.
- Image alt text and semantic HTML, so the page makes sense without seeing it.
Why schema matters for AI search
Schema markup is like a label on a jar. It tells a machine what's inside without making it read the whole page. Your business name, location, services, and common questions can all be labeled.
That helps classic search results, and it also helps AI tools pull accurate facts about you. It doesn't guarantee a citation. Nothing does. But a page with clear labels is easier to quote than one without.
For a local business, the useful labels are the ones that answer how a buyer asks. What does this company do? Where? How do I reach them? What questions do customers ask? When those answers are written into the page in plain text and labeled in the code, both a searcher and an AI assistant can get a straight answer from your site.
How it fits into the build
We do this work as we build, not after. Every page gets its URL, headings, metadata, and structured data at the same time it gets its design and copy. Fixing these later costs more and often means redoing pages.
Packages differ in how far this goes. Launch ($3,900) includes basic metadata and analytics. Authority ($6,400) includes full technical SEO/AEO and full schema markup. Premium ($10,100) adds advanced schema markup and a full site and competitor gap analysis. Hosting and CMS are $75 per month, and 50% of the build is due at kickoff and 50% at launch. The pricing page shows each package side by side.
What it does and doesn't do
Think of the setup as removing roadblocks. It doesn't pave the road. Rankings come from the whole package: a clear technical foundation, pages that answer real questions, a good reputation, and time.
Technical setup makes ranking possible. It doesn't make it automatic. A site still needs helpful content, real reviews, and a reason for people to trust it.
It also doesn't need to be a one-time job. Sites change, tools update, and new pages get added. If you already have a site with gaps, a technical audit and fixes can find them.
Ongoing growth marketing, including monthly SEO/AEO work, is reserved for home service contractors doing $300K or more a year. We take 15 partners total, one per trade per market. The website foundation is open to every industry.
Who this is for, and who it isn't
It's for any business building a new site, and for owners with an existing site that never got a proper foundation. If your pages don't appear for your own business name, or Google shows a confusing title, that's a sign.
Typical signs on an existing site include every page sharing one title, no structured data at all, duplicate versions of the homepage reachable at different addresses, and images with no descriptions. These are fixable, and some are quick. Others are baked into how an older site was built, which is when we talk about a rebuild.
It's not for someone who only wants a quick cosmetic change. If your site is fine under the hood, we'll say so and leave it alone.
After launch
Here's a quick test you can run yourself. Search for your business name and look at the result. Is the title clear? Does the description read like a person wrote it? Does Google show the right page? Then open your homepage on a phone and see how fast it appears. If something feels off, send it to us. These two checks catch a lot.
At launch we run final checks and get your pages in front of search engines through search engine submissions. We also plan your page structure with sitemap development. Your package includes post-launch support, from 30 to 90 days, so if something looks off in search, we're the people to ask.
