Find what is holding your site back, then fix it.
Technical SEO audit and fixes for home service contractors. We crawl your site, find the issues that limit rankings, and fix them rather than handing you a list.
Growth marketing is for home service contractors doing $300K+ a year. We partner with 15 contractors total, and only one per trade per market.
What's included
- A full crawl: indexing, redirects, broken links, and speed
- Schema and structured data review
- Fixes implemented, not just reported
- Monthly audits as part of ongoing SEO
Who it's for
Contractors whose site has grown messy, slow, or hard for search engines to read.
What a technical SEO audit does
A technical SEO audit is a full check of how search engines reach, read, and load your website. We crawl the site the way a search engine would, find what's blocking or confusing it, and then fix those problems. You get a site that works, not a long report to file away.
Technical issues are quiet. A site can look perfect to you and still have pages Google can't index, redirects sending people in circles, or a slow load on mobile. You won't see any of that unless someone looks.
That's why an audit comes first. Fixing things at random wastes time. A new page can't rank if Google can't index it, and a faster page doesn't help if no one can find it. The audit tells us what's actually in the way and in what order to clear it.
Here's a simple example. A contractor adds a handful of city pages and wonders why none show up. The audit finds a setting that tells search engines to ignore them. One small change later, the pages can be read. Not every case is that tidy, but a surprising number of problems are small once someone finds them.
What the audit looks at
The crawl covers the areas that most often hold a contractor's site back:
- Indexing: which pages Google can find and which it's skipping
- Site structure: how pages link together and how deep important ones are buried
- Redirects: chains, loops, and old addresses that lead nowhere
- Broken links and missing pages
- Page speed and mobile usability
- Duplicate content, such as the same text across city pages
- Schema and structured data
Crawling and indexing
Crawling is when a search engine bot visits your pages. Indexing is when it decides to store them so they can show up in results. A page can be crawled and still not indexed. Common causes include a stray noindex tag, a block in the robots file, or a page so similar to another that Google picks one.
We check which of your important pages are indexed and which aren't, then find out why. Often it's a quick change that makes a service page visible for the first time.
We also look at your sitemap, the file that lists the pages you want found. A sitemap that includes dead pages or leaves out your best ones sends mixed signals. We clean it up so it matches the site as it is today.
Speed, redirects, and schema
Speed matters because slow pages lose visitors and can limit how well a page performs. We look at what slows the page down: oversized images, extra scripts, heavy code.
Mobile matters because homeowners often search from a phone. We look at whether text is readable, buttons are easy to tap, and the phone number is easy to find and call.
Redirects matter because old addresses pile up. A site that has changed hands or been rebuilt a few times often carries chains where one old address sends visitors to another, then another. We clean those up so each old address goes straight to the right new page.
Schema tells engines what each page is about in a format they read directly. We review what's there, fix errors, and add what's missing. It helps with classic search and with AEO, where machines need clear, labeled facts.
How fixes get shipped
Most audit providers hand over a spreadsheet and leave you to find a developer. We don't. We rank the problems by importance, tell you the order we'll take them in, and make the fixes ourselves. Then we crawl again to confirm the change worked.
Fixes that touch the code or the structure of the site are done carefully, so nothing that works today breaks. We explain what we changed in plain words.
You'll know what was found, what was fixed, and what's still on the list. If something needs a decision from you, like removing an old page that still gets visits, we ask first. We don't delete or redirect things you care about without a conversation.
What it costs and how it fits
Technical SEO audits and fixes are part of our SEO/AEO + GEO service, which is $1,500 per month plus a $499 setup. Audits repeat each month as part of ongoing work, because sites change and new issues appear. You can see the whole list on the pricing page.
This work sits underneath the rest of SEO optimization. Technical health is the base, and page-level work builds on it.
Because we run the audit every month, small problems get caught before they pile up. A plug-in change, a new page, or a redesign can introduce new issues. A monthly check means you aren't finding out a year later, after leads have already dropped.
We don't promise a ranking from technical work alone. What we can say is that a clean site gives every other part of SEO/AEO a better chance to work.
Who it's for
This is for home service contractors doing $300K or more a year whose site has grown messy, slow, or hard for search engines to read. That often happens after a few years of added pages, a past redesign, or work from several different people. We partner with 15 contractors total, one per trade per market.
It won't help much if your site has no real content yet. Technical fixes remove obstacles. They don't create reasons to rank. If you're not sure where you stand, contact us and we'll tell you what we'd check first.
