Who it's for

Owners who want advice before committing.

Straight advice before you commit

Consultation services in Boise, Idaho give business owners a straight answer on the next move, before any money is committed. You talk through your goals, your budget, and your site with the people who build it, and you leave with a clear plan.

This is the business-level conversation. A website is one tool. Before you pick a tool, it helps to know what you want it to do for the business. More calls? Better jobs? Fewer tire kickers? A site that matches the quality of your work?

We're a small team. Jared and Rachelle Nelson take a limited number of clients at a time, so when you talk to us, you're talking to the people who would do the work.

That also means we can be blunt. There's no sales team between you and us, and no one working from a script. If the best advice is to wait six months, or to spend less than you planned, you'll hear it from us.

What the conversation covers

We keep it practical. You can expect to talk about these things.

  • Your biggest goal for the next year, in your own words.
  • A rough budget range, so we recommend something that fits.
  • What's working in your marketing now, and what isn't.
  • Which package, if any, matches your situation.
  • What to do first, and what to skip for now.

Sequencing: what to do first

Owners often feel pressure to do everything at once: new site, ads, reviews, social media. That's rarely the best use of money. The order matters.

For most businesses, the website comes first. It's where every other effort lands. Ads sent to a weak site waste money, and reviews don't help if people can't find your pages. Once the foundation is solid, you can add other work in the order that makes sense.

We'll tell you honestly where your money is likely to go furthest, even if that means starting smaller than you expected.

A budget conversation helps here. If you have a range in mind, say it. A Launch site at $3,900 and a Premium build at $10,100 are different projects, and both can be right depending on the business. Knowing your range lets us skip the options that don't fit and focus on the ones that do.

Say so if the budget is tight. A smaller site done well beats a bigger one done badly, and a focused first build can grow later. We'd rather help you start in the right place than sell you pages you aren't ready to fill.

We also talk about what the site needs to do at launch and what can wait. A new service page can be added later through content updates. A weak foundation is much harder to fix later, so we put money there first.

How growth marketing fits in

Websites are for businesses in every industry. Ongoing growth marketing is different: SEO/AEO, GEO, Google Business Profile, Google Ads, and Local Services Ads are reserved for home service contractors doing $300K or more a year. We take 15 partners total, one per trade per market.

If that's you, we'll talk about whether the growth side is worth exploring, and you can see the thinking behind it in our premium positioning strategy. If it isn't, we'll say so and focus on getting the site right, with no awkward pitch.

What you leave with

A plain-language next step. It includes the package we'd recommend, a rough scope, and what to do in what order. You can use it with us, or take it to anyone else you're weighing.

Our follow-up is no-pressure. We'll follow up, answer your questions, and leave the decision with you. You can read more about how our packages work on the pricing page.

Cost and who it's for

The first conversation is a free discovery call. If you move forward, website packages start at $3,900, and most projects land around $6,400. 50% is due at kickoff and 50% at launch. Hosting and CMS are $75 per month. A typical project runs four to eight weeks from strategy to launch.

It's a fit for owners who want advice before committing, who are comparing agencies, or who have a project in mind but aren't sure about the scope. Browse our industries to see the kinds of businesses we work with.

It's not a fit if you want a fixed-price promise over the phone with no information. We need to hear about your business first.

It's also not a fit if you want us to make the decision for you. We'll give a clear recommendation and explain it, but you know your business and your numbers best, and the call is yours.

What to bring

Bring your current website address if you have one, your biggest goal for the next year, and a rough budget range. That's enough to start. If you already have a proposal from someone else, bring that too, and we'll talk through the differences.

A few good questions to ask any web designer, including us: Who will actually build my site? Who do I talk to when I have a question? What happens after launch? What's included, and what costs extra? You'll find our answers on the about page, and we're happy to repeat them on a call.

If your focus is the site itself, a website consultation goes deeper on pages, structure, and fixes. When you're ready, get in touch.
