A plan for where your next jobs come from

Most contractors we talk to get work from referrals and repeat customers, and they like it that way. The trouble is that referrals do not scale on command. When a slow month hits, there is no lever to pull. A lead generation plan gives you one.

We map which channels fit your trade, your market, and your budget, then build the plan. Not every contractor needs every channel. A good plan picks the few that match how your customers buy.

Think of it as a map with a few routes instead of a long list of tactics. For each route we name what it costs, how long it takes to show results, what it needs from you, and how we will measure it. Then you decide which routes to open first.

Channels, one at a time

It helps to split channels into two types. Some build up and keep paying. Others work only while you fund them.

Channels that compound

SEO/AEO, your Google Business Profile, and reviews belong here. They take longer to start, but the work stays in place. A page that ranks, a profile with strong reviews, and AI answers that name you keep producing calls without a per-click cost. Our SEO agency page covers the ranking work in more detail.

Channels you rent

Google Ads, Local Services Ads, and social ads work fast and stop when you stop paying. They are useful when you need leads now, in a slow season, or while the longer-term channels build. See our PPC agency page for how paid search works.

Matching channels to your trade and market

The right mix depends on your situation. An HVAC company in a big market may need Local Services Ads and a strong map presence to be seen at all. A pool builder with a long sales cycle may care more about portfolio content and staying visible during months of research. An excavator may care about getting in front of builders and landowners.

Market size matters too. In some markets, organic and AI visibility are the growth engine and ads are optional. In others, ads fill the calendar while SEO builds. We recommend what fits, and we will tell you when a channel does not make sense yet.

Capacity counts as well. If your crews are booked for the next three months, more leads can hurt you by stretching your team and slowing response times. Sometimes the right plan is to build the compounding channels quietly and hold off on ads until you have room to take the work.

What the plan costs

There is no flat price for a plan, because it depends on which channels you pick. Each channel has its own posted price. SEO/AEO + GEO is $1,500 per month with a $499 setup. Google Business Profile management is $249 per month with a $199 setup. Reputation management is $199 per month with a $299 setup. Google Ads management is $650 per month plus a $499 setup, with ad spend paid to Google.

If you want help choosing before you commit, our lead generation strategy session is a good starting point. The pricing page lists every service.

Turning leads into jobs

A lead is not a job. The gap between the two is where many contractors lose money without noticing. How fast does someone answer the phone? How quickly do you send an estimate? Does your website make it easy to book?

We look at that whole path. If your site is losing people before they call, fixing it often returns more than adding more traffic. Our premium positioning strategy work is built for contractors who want to attract bigger jobs and stop competing on price.

Who it fits and what to expect

This fits home service contractors doing $300K or more a year who rely on referrals and want a steadier flow of inbound leads. It also fits contractors who spent on marketing before and could not tell what worked.

It is not for contractors who want a guaranteed number of leads, or who cannot take on more work. We also take one contractor per trade per market, so we confirm your market is open before starting.

On timing, we do not promise a lead count. We start by learning how you win jobs now, then build the plan around it. Early reports show where calls come from and which channels need adjusting. The compounding channels take months, and the speed depends on your trade and market. We promise to track results, report them plainly, and move budget toward what works.

A realistic first quarter looks like this. In month one we audit what you have and agree on the channel plan. In months two and three, the first channels go live and tracking starts to show real numbers. By the end of the quarter you should know which channel is producing calls, which needs more time, and which we should drop or delay. That clarity is worth as much as the first leads, because it stops you from spending on guesses.

Common mistakes

A few patterns cost contractors the most.

  • Chasing the cheapest lead instead of the best job.
  • Spreading a small budget across five channels so none gets a fair test.
  • Joining pay-per-lead sites that sell the same lead to several companies.
  • Switching channels every few weeks.
  • Never asking which marketing the customer saw first.

Common questions
