Website development in Boise, from first site to full rebuild
If you need a website developed in Boise, Idaho, the first thing to know is what you're getting and who's responsible for it. We build new sites for businesses that don't have one and rebuild sites that have outgrown their old setup. In both cases, we stay responsible for the result.
This page is about how the build itself works: the stages, what gets tested, and what happens once the site is live. If you're interested in the design thinking behind it, see our website design service.
Developing a site also means making decisions that last. Which pages exist, how they link, what the URLs look like, and how content is stored all affect how easily you can grow later. We make those choices with the next few years in mind, not just launch day.
A new build or a rebuild?
The starting point changes the plan. Here's how we think about each one.
A first website
If you don't have a site yet, we start with strategy: who you serve, what you sell, and what pages you need. Nothing has to be undone, so we can build the right structure from day one. Many first-time owners worry they need everything figured out. You don't. Bring what you have, and we'll help with the rest.
A rebuild of an existing site
If you already have a site, we look at what's working before replacing it. Existing rankings, content, and links get protected. We cover that process in more detail under website redesign.
The four to eight weeks, stage by stage
A typical project runs four to eight weeks from strategy to launch. The exact timing depends on package size and how quickly we get your content and feedback. Content is the stage that stalls most projects. Photos, project details, and answers to questions take time to gather. We send clear lists of what we need, and you can send it in pieces. The sooner it's in, the sooner we launch. These are the stages.
- Strategy: a discovery session and a plan for pages, goals, and calls to action.
- Design: layouts for your key pages, shared with you for feedback.
- Build: we code the approved design on Next.js and set up forms, analytics, and the CMS.
- Fill: your copy, photos, and projects go in. On Authority and Premium, we write the copy.
- Test: phones, tablets, desktops, forms, phone links, and tracking.
- Launch: the site goes live, and we confirm indexing.
What gets checked before launch
Nobody wants to find a broken form after a customer tries to reach them. So before launch, we go through a checklist. A form isn't tested until we've sent a lead through it and watched it arrive.
- Every form sends to the right place.
- Every phone number is tap-to-call.
- Every link goes where it should.
- Pages look right on common phones and desktop browsers.
- Analytics and lead tracking record a test event.
- Titles, descriptions, and structured data are in place.
- The sitemap is ready to submit to Google and Bing.
Who is responsible after launch
A lot of developers hand over files and disappear. We don't. Every package includes post-launch support: 30 days on Launch, 60 days on Authority, and 90 days on Premium. If something is off in that window, we fix it. That window is also when you start using the CMS for real and have questions. Ask them. That's what it's for.
After that, hosting and CMS are $75 per month, and you can reach us when something changes. Details are on our hosting page and our technical support page. We train you at handoff so routine edits are in your hands.
Scope and cost
Website packages start at $3,900, and most projects land around $6,400. The package sets the scope. Launch is $3,900 and covers five to six pages with a basic gallery, where you provide the copy. Authority is $6,400 for 15 to 20 pages, with Sanity CMS, full technical SEO/AEO, schema markup, and full copywriting. Premium is $10,100 for 20 to 30 pages, with a full brand identity and competitor gap analysis.
Payment is 50% at kickoff and 50% at launch. The pricing page lists everything in each package.
If you're between packages, tell us. A common case is a business that wants Authority-level pages but is watching the budget. We'll help you decide what to build first and what can wait for a later phase.
Who it's for
Website development is for businesses that want the site done properly and want a person to call afterward. It fits a service company launching its first site, a business replacing one that has stopped working, or an owner who is tired of managing freelancers. Owners who've been burned before tend to value this approach. If a past developer vanished, left you with a site nobody could edit, or built something that never brought in calls, we'll show you how we do it differently.
It isn't for projects that need a custom web application or a large internal system. Our strength is business websites that bring in calls and bookings, built with care and supported by the people who made them. If you want to talk it through first, a discovery call is free, and you'll get a straight answer about scope. We build business websites, and we do that well. If you aren't sure what you need, contact us for a free discovery call.
